Well, it's been a great quarter at my school, especially in the national and global news category.

Obama is now getting grilled by Ted Rall, one of my favorite progressives. Mostly for not doing any of the stuff that we wanted when we voted for him. No tangible exit strategy for Afghanistan since we have no idea what we're doing there in the first place. Trying to nationalize health care which I'm all in favor for but Reps and even Dems are reluctant because health businesses are too whiny to let them decide on their own. Same bogus pretext that trickle-down economics still works despite evidence to the contrary. And lastly, his tendency to take his wife out on expensive dates rather than stay indoors and run the country like he's supposed to.

Iran's election debacle looks like it's sparking another revolution just like what happened 30 years ago. Even in the extremely slim chance that Ahmadinejad did win, he'll be scared stiff for the rest of his time in office, or the rest of his life, whichever comes first.

And lastly. US decides to pull over a North Korean military ship under the impression that our authority bares any weight in international waters.
